The materials and equipment chosen for this project will be used to create personalized t-shirts. The students will offer the t-shirts as a means to create school unity among all parties. By allowing my students to create shirts in the classroom it gives them access to "real-world opportunities." The district has implemented a financial literacy standard and this project will allow students to better understand the financial market. They will learn how to market the product, create a business plan, order merchandise, and balance a checkbook. Imagination is where happiness begins. Creativity builds upon critical thinking which can be applied to various content areas in the classroom.
