Many of my students are struggling to focus on their education. They are often dis-regulated from the stress of their home life. The items I am requesting are an attempt to meet the needs of all my learners, regardless of their diagnosis to give everyone equitable access to education. Students are not accessing their education because of social-emotional struggles. The items I am requesting are an attempt to meet the needs of all my learners. Students come to class with a lot on their minds. The stresses of life can burden my students and make it challenging for them to focus on learning. A Rubber Base wobble stool will help me create a space where students that may not be able to sit for long periods of time or are dis-regulated due to stress, a safe space to access their education in a way that meets their needs. This furniture will allow students to regulate themselves and release stress they carried with them from home.
