I teach a class of students who have moderate to severe disabilities. Some have physical and cognitive disabilities, and others mainly have cognitive delays. They are a class of kindergarten through 2nd graders who are learning how to count, read and write. Some are working on their letter sounds and names. My students would benefit from iPads and writing apps. The apps help my students learn the correct way to write. They love to see, hear and touch! The iPads and apps have a lot of color, motion and sounds that keep the kids engaged.
