Our choral classroom focuses on making beautiful music, exposing children to more than what they encounter in everyday life. The goal is for the students to experience something more than they can do by themselves. In order to learn and perform music at higher levels of students, music learn, understand, and apply music reading and literacy skills. Becoming an independent musician requires basic knowledge of music theory. It is hoped that as students leave my classroom they have basic music reading skills to carry with them throughout their lifetime. Being able to apply the skills learned will stay with them. Thanks
