The materials requested will allow my students real world experiences with printmaking. Screen-printing is an amazing activity. I can't wait to share my love for screen-printing with my students! Students will learn the many uses that screen-printing has in our every day lives. From the clothes that they wear to the images on their cereal boxes, screen-printing is used and has been used throughout history. I can't wait for my students to see how to incorporate other disciplines into this endeavor. The math configurations in making things a specific size and the chemical process of photo emulsion will be sure to amaze them.
