College is expensive - and not just tuition, fees and books! Our students face financial barriers when it comes to paying for college, not to mention the cost of other essentials like a laptop, which is an essential college supply in 2020! Lack of access to a laptop can cause “summer melt,” where students who graduate from high school planning to attend college end up not enrolling due to being overwhelmed with additional costs not covered by their financial aid package. To help prevent this “summer melt,” we hope to provide 3 students with a “scholarship” of a laptop this spring to help stay on track in college.

About my class
