This project aims to build a comprehensive pantry of toiletry items, non-perishable food items, and other personal supplies for the students experiencing homelessness. These students and their families self report their housing difficulties to the school, and we do what we can to accommodate their needs. We believe in taking care of the whole child, and we want to be quick in response when a need is presented. This pantry would allow our children experiencing homelessness security in knowing that they do not have to leave school without items to meet their basic needs. Our school community is composed of compassionate people who are always striving to do more for our kids. A broad variety of things are included in this list to allow students choice when it comes to their food and personal care items. Each child will be given a backpack to carry their things home.
