I cannot wait to bring the interactive, hands-on inquiry SEPUP/Lab Aids materials to my classroom! I have come to appreciate the benefit and value of this resource as I have been working with the SEUPUP/Lab-Aids kits and accompanying lesson materials since 2014 either in the classroom myself or supporting 1st and 2nd-year teachers with them. Thanks to SEPUP, I have seen students smile and laugh through labs, take the lead, make their own discoveries, work together, and grapple with science in an authentic and relevant way! SEPUP is an amazing instructional resource for any context but is particularly well suited for an IB Program given the way that it integrates science concepts with global issues. These materials will facilitate a culture of cooperation and true student-centered learning where students have access to the manipulative and content (procedures, background, analysis) that they need to grapple with content and engage in inquiry with their peers.
