Help my third grade students go to a place they may never visit. Many of my students have never had the opportunity to visit and experience any area other than the small rural community they live in. When teaching weather the students had a hard time visualizing snow. Many online sites allow students to become familiar with things they may never have the opportunity to experience. Many students in my class read below a third grade level and will benefit from using apps and sites to help with strategies to become proficient. A world of learning can be opened when students are able to use technology in the classroom.
