Something so beautiful happens when a child holds an instrument. Their faces light up with joy, surprise, and excitement. My students are eager to create, discover and share musical experiences with one another. For my students, music class is one of the few places they can feel safe to truly express themselves and have fun. I am building our school's music program from the ground up, and wish to purchase a variety of percussion instruments for my students to use in music class. My school has limited resources, no music classroom, and few instruments. A large portion of our students live in temporary housing and many have never had a music class before. We can create a musical rainstorm with the rain stick and thunder tube from our Nature Sounds Kit! We can read a picture book, orchestrating each page with our cabasa and triangle. We’ll form an ensemble with our rhythm sticks or our Boomwhackers! We absolutely love performing so we’ll be sure to share our joy and our music with the ones we love. This mean so much to me and even more to my students. Thank you for your time, your consideration and your donation to our music program.
