Social and emotional skills are a huge part of every elementary classroom. During many incidents, it is very difficult for students to express themselves with words because of the fear of "getting in trouble." Working in the Newark School System, many of my students struggle greatly with expressing themselves with their words. The games that I am requesting for my classroom will benefit my students by teaching them how to use kind words while playing the activities. All of your help will enable these students to have social and emotional activities within the classroom that will help teach them the importance of being safe, kind, and respectful.
