Wobble Chairs and Lap Desks keep young minds more alert and focused. This Increases academic performance and reduces behavior issues by providing for students' developmental needs to move, make choices and have personal space. This increases participation and focus. If I can harness some of the energy that is in their little bodies and channel it to learning, we will have more success in the academic performance that we are trying to achieve. The more movement that I can provide to my kindergarteners while they are learning, the more material they can retain throughout the day. Flexible seating is key.
