Students work on being self-regulated to create calm bodies and healthy minds. Sensory items such as therapy sand, Wikki Stix, and sensory marbles assist in providing students more choices for their sensory time or when they just need a brain break. Flexible seating options create choice and engagement for learning. When a child is calm, they can learn new social and academic skills needed to succeed in school.
