Our students need a healthy environment to learn and grow. A rug is an essential piece of a classroom, especially in preschool classrooms. We spend lots of time on the rug each day. We do our morning and afternoon group meetings, rest after outdoor play, and use it during choice time to build with blocks and play together. Our old rug is about 8 years old and has a lot a wear and tear. It has lots of stains and has lost its vibrant colors throughout these years. A new rug will give our students the opportunity to enjoy their learning in a clean and colorful environment.
