Models of the brain and heart will assist students in picturing and understanding the structure and functions of these organs. Distinguishing the parts of these organs is easier with an actual model. Models of the knee, shoulder and hip will help students develop an understanding of the mechanisms involved in these structures. Models that allow me to demonstrate how they work and allow students to examine their structure much more closely than they can with a two dimensional image, will increase depth of understanding and efficiency in learning simultaneously. Though these items are not especially expensive, many currently available resources tend to be needed to address more rudimentary, but still necessary needs. Being able to acquire these models without ignoring those needs would be a Godsend.
