This classroom library set will make a huge difference to my students. Most of my students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and do not have a variety of books available that they can read. Having on level books will allow my students to flourish academically. It will also encourage my students to develop a love for reading. These books will help build literacy in my classroom as students have literature available at their reading level. My students, who come from a variety of backgrounds, will have literature in the classroom that feature diverse characters who they can relate to. It will also encourage my students to foster an interest in science and technology. Our classroom library will be used daily. There are many opportunities throughout the day for my students to read. My students love independent reading and are so excited to get new books that will enrich their learning experiences!
