My students are first and second graders. Having a combination class can be challenging at times, but the progress they are making is outstanding. My students are very creative and love to work with each other. The second graders help to set an excellent example for the first graders and help push them to learn more. The first graders ask the second graders for help and challenge them by asking them questions. My students work hard and love reading. My classroom includes many students who speak a language other than English. Our school is a Title 1 school.
