Having equipment that is in great working condition will help our students achieve a higher level of success. Music stands that do not need constant adjustments with pliers would mean more time for both myself and my students devoted to making music and teaching. Our students have often made the best of our situation by playing on timpani and practice pads that do not work correctly or simply are in disrepair. The more I have been able to restore broken instruments and equipment, the more pride I see them show in their music program and school. Our students have grown quite a bit since I started teaching them last year, I hope to continue that growth with acquiring excellent condition music stands and high quality timpani and practice pads.
