Spanish heritage students come together to celebrate their heritage through language, art, and academic and cultural competitions. It is an important way to celebrate our students, and encourage them to share their creativity and language skills in Spanish. When they get together they realize how important their cultural heritage is, and their self-esteem improves. In addition, they get to visit the beautiful CU Boulder campus and they get to be college students for a day. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage communication between our schools, while they have a great time attending dance, theater, concerts, exhibitions. Students never forget this day.

About my class
