Science, in my opinion, is a universal subject where all students can be successful in school. It is a tool which can be used to better understand what's going on the world, especially right around us. This is why I would love to create a science center in my classroom for my students. I want my students to carry the spirit of Doctor Mae Jamison, who once said,“Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity; It's your place in the world; it's your life; Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live.” I believe our classroom science center will be the start of my students carrying on Dr. Jamison's belief. The materials I am requesting will definitely help my students to be better aware other world around them. These items will give them first-hand knowledge of basic science which can carry them throughout their lives. I plan to use these items on a daily basis with my students to give them a hands-on experience through science inquiry and exploration. Thank you in advance for donating to our classroom.
