I am a newer teacher, and very new to lower elementary. I would love tools to help my students with their phonics skills so they can become proficient readers! In my fifth grade class, I used Hot Dots. I know these students will greatly benefit from them! It will be an easy way to self-assess skills, such as letter names, blending, and sight words. I am also looking for CvC cubes and cards to reiterate basic spelling patterns. These foundational skills are vital in the reading world! If they learn to read while young, their love for reading will grow!
