All of the students on my caseload will benefit from the TI-84 Graphing Calculators. In providing them with this accommodation, they can be successful in their courses: Algebra, Geometry, Probability and Statistics, and Pre-Calculus, as well as on their SATs. In receiving mathematics instruction daily with the TI-84 in hand, my students with disabilities will gain a sense of comfort in utilizing this tool to solve real-world mathematics problems. Being that our institution is a theme-based interdistrict magnet high school, focusing on information technology and software engineering, the TI-84 Graphing Calculator will not only magnetize the theme of our learning environment, but the minds of the students that sit before me.
