This project will provide my students and families with a variety of magnetic building tiles for a Family STEM Night. The sets received through this project will provide students and families with a variety of kits in which to explore, experiment and engineer. Kits include Magnetic Building Sticks Building Blocks Set, Magnetic Building Sticks Building Blocks Set, and various Magnetic Tiles. The purpose of the Family STEM Night will be to provide students and families with an opportunity to explore STEM concepts and develop 21st century skills within the family unit. The open-ended magnetic building tiles will provide families with limitless possibilities for creativity, STEM exploration, and family engagement. Besides the Family STEM Night, these supplies will also be used for centers in our learning commons and classroom STEM integration.
