We started a new math curriculum this year that is tied to Common Core Math standards. While it is engaging, it requires lots of math maniupulatives such as both 2D and 3D shapes, numbers, objects students can count, etc. These manipulatives can be used both during the lesson and afterwards during center time to reinforce the concepts taught. My students love hands-on activities! Anytime they have the opportunity to use manipulatives, they are more attentive and engaged. They are learning and having fun at the same time! These manipulatives will allow my students to build a solid foundation for future success.
