My students are in 8th grade this year and will be graduating and moving on to High School. I want to give them all something that will inspire them to continue moving towards their dreams in order to be successful and true to themselves. The book "Dreamers" tells of the journey a migrant and her son made and how they adapted to this new place. It is a story about how she brought and used her strength to adapt in a new environment. She found the public library and the words in the books helped her and her son to unfold the language and the new land that they moved to.
