They are also not exposed to different types of physical activity, like golf, , frisbee, running, ninja warrior, CrossFit etc. I work hard to give them as much chance to safely participate and explore new activities. These students deserve to have a quality education by staff that truly loves and supports them. At my school I feel they do have that. My classes are 200 + and that enables me to get to talk to each student during the week. My goal as a physical education teacher is make students who feel like outcasts during physical activity feel successful every class and to build their self-esteem, self-efficacy and enjoyment with physical activity. I always tell my students the quote from Muhammad Ali, "Even the greatest was once a beginner” Our mission is to provide a safe, rigorous, and engaging small learning environment free from distractions to meet academic, social, behavioral, physical, and emotional needs of students, as well as, assisting in the development of appropriate decision-making skills that will enable them to be successful. It is often a challenge to receive help with classroom supplies with the allocations that teachers are given for supplies. We are very thankful for any help we receive. This year, we need physical education equipment. Our students in need equipment for our program. Thanks! They love hands-on activities and exploring our classroom environment. I encourage them to constantly challenge themselves and to learn from each other. I promote healthy behavior, healthy eating, and a positive learning environment. They are active learners always trying their best.
