The chairs I'm asking for will be placed at a table set lower to the ground. This gives kids the chance to sit on the floor. I have many students who need a table space to learn but have trouble focusing while sitting in a hard upright chair in a traditional desk space. Students will be allowed each day to choose where they want to sit based on how they are feeling that day. Some days my students come to school and have trouble focusing in a traditional desk space. This puts the power in their hands to choose how and where they learn each day. It also helps them reflect on themselves and learn to make choices and to be responsible with the choices they make.

About my class
