Our students will grow herbs in a hydroponic herb garden starting with planting, watering and maintaining the herbs. With the use of the pods they will be able to learn about and grow a variety of herbs. Our students will use the herbs in a variety of ways to increase their job skills, learn financial literacy and continue to work towards gainful employment after high school. First, they will be shared with the CTE Foods teachers to enhance their curriculum. They will also sell the herbs to faculty and staff. Finally, they will use the herbs in weekly cooking activities.

About my class
