We will use these books for silent reading, reading logs, and with assignments in the classroom! Students are learning to appreciate reading for pleasure! I am very excited for the opportunity to be able to provide students with books they may never again be able to experience! My students are learning that reading can be fun, and I have been witness to what reading can do for their confidence and for their social interactions with each other. I have heard them talk about what they are reading even when it wasn't expected of them. Changing and shaping the future: one book at a time...
