My students will learn about a bearded dragon, learn how to take care of a pet, and have a hands-on learning experience in science class. Many of my students have never owned a pet, so this will be a new experience for them. We will literally bring science to life!! What a better way to learn science, than by DOING science. I can teach kids until I am blue in the face, but when they can experience science..., the learning is endless. I am looking forward to making memories with this great group of sixth graders. I want this class to be one that they remember forever. And since bearded dragons have a long life-span, they can come back to visit Elvis, and me!
