We will use these things to get organized, get our classroom back under control, replace some of what we lost, and try and make the space they put us in our home while our school is being rebuilt. Each of these items will have a specific impact on the lives of my students. Currently we have 12 iPads in our class that students use each day. The cases will help keep each of the iPads protected as students use them to work on different assignments. The Chairback Buddies will give students a space where they can keep their personal items. The building we were placed in does not have lockers or desks, so the only storage students have is the pocket chair on the back of the chairs. With the intent of trying to get all students familiar with coding, the new extended monitor will serve as a learning station for students as they work on their coding skills. This is such an important skill in today's day and age and we want to get a head start on it so they can be successful in the future. As far as the building goes, the concrete walls make it very difficult to display student work. With a hot glue gun and a heavy duty stapler, this will make it so that we are able to display the student work. Being able to display their work has a huge impact on their success and ownership of what they are learning. Students get to see that what they do in school matters and that others enjoy seeing what they can produce in their learning. Each individual item has a specific impact on student success, whether it be directly or indirectly. Thank you for any help you can give.
