The modeling clay, tools , boxes to keep it fresh, will enable the students to see exactly where the organs are located in proximity to other systems. I will have laminated body sections, example is the thoracic cavity. The students will make lungs...trachea, bronchial tree, lobes of lungs etc and place them on this laminated paper. We will do that for each body system. Each student will make a heart, brain , and skin, 3-D model for a grade. These materials will promote learning from lecture. Some students do not have access to purchase needed supplies, so I will use extra clay left over from class to assist them to succeed.
