The books that I am requesting will be used for book studies. Novel and book studies give students an opportunity to experiences outside their current reality. Through book studies students are exposed to new cultures, historical time periods, and just an understanding of life circumstances outside their own, a good novel study can be the key to opening the door to understanding. A well-planned novel study leaves your students wanting more. The use of literature circles during your novel study teaches students how to cooperate, take turns, and have engaged peer discussions. As students dive into the plot of a novel, they are exposed to the situations, confrontations, and challenges faced by the main characters. A good novel could mean that learning lasts longer and sticks with students across the year.
