The art and music materials will be used to create something of their own. The students are learning about how different cultures express themselves. Using class library books and computers they began learning about different cultures around the world. We began learning about customs and traditions in different countries. Students compared their own family traditions with kids from other cultures. These materials will help create a class of self discovery for kids. I have worked to create an environment in our classroom in which everyone is important and has a special talent. Each child will express himself or herself using art or music. The children will be completing a self expression activity using materials donated.
