The Early Childhood Special Education program would greatly benefit from outdoor activities for students in need of wheelchair accessible play structures. This project would allow socialization, development of play and communication skills, and equality for the students in the program. While outdoors, students with impairments would be able to join in recess activities with peers, promoting their development. Allowing accessible play for all students would be so impactful for the ECSE classroom as it would open the doors for student engagement at recess! The requested play structure would afford wheelchair-bound and students with physical impairments equal play opportunities at recess.

About my class
