Many of my Title-1 students have never been outside of Santa Fe, NM before. These students will have the opportunity to go to a camp for the first time. They will be hiking, making smores, making campfires, etc... Many students in my previous trips have said it was their most memorable trip in middle school! There will also be a lot of music-making. We will be preparing for our final concert during some of our time up there. We will have a highly experienced clinician that teaches these kids techniques and insights that I would not be able to. Help gives these middle school students a trip that they will never forget.
