Currently worksheets have been removed from workbooks to be handed out since we do not have desks. Transition times at this time are long as we are constantly collecting and distributing supplies for each topic being taught. Providing students with chair pockets will give my students the ownership of their workbooks and other supplies such as pencils, crayons, and markers, needed to be successful in the classroom. The goal is for students to understand responsibility of being ready for each topic being taught in addition to learning how to take care of their supplies. Students having their own supplies will provide confidence to be successful with each use.
