These activities will enhance my literacy centers. My students go to literacy centers every day. They use the skills we learn in class and apply them during small group time. One of the major goals in kindergarten is to help students become more independent. These activities will be engaging for students because they will feel like they are playing a game but will also allow students to feel successful because they will be able to complete the tasks independently. Lastly, these activities are convenient because they will save on time and money in planning literacy centers every week. I look forward to using these activities in my classroom every year.
