This is my first year teaching, and the classroom I moved into was very cluttered and had so many toys and puzzles so the kids were easily distracted. I am trying to transform my classroom from a busy, cluttered room to a calm classroom to help better the students learning. I want to provide alternate seating for the children as well as incorporate calming colors. My goal is to have something to benefit each child so that they can reach their full potential. By doing this it will make it space where they feel calm and collected coming in. My students will be able to focus better in this environment. By giving my students the option of different seating they can use it will help them feel more motivated to work. By creating a calm classroom it will allow the students to focus more and enhance better learning.
