Our district has not adequately funded our school to be teachers and learners in the 21st Century. We share two laptop carts for an entire K-8 school. Many of our lessons are project-based, creating a dynamic and diverse way of meeting the state standards. In order to create a more student-centered learning environment, we need access to modern technology on a daily basis. Whether it's students unpacking their curiosities from our Wonder Wall, fine tuning our understanding of spelling and grammar or developing our comprehension skills in reading and writing, giving us access to educational apps and student-friendly research platforms will help us grow!
