Having these chromebooks in the classroom will assist me in providing the differentiated instruction necessary to help my student become fluent readers. The online Lexia program uses fun literacy activities to diagnose deficiencies and provide practice activities and instructional lessons that are designed to increase reading fluency. This program is a research based intervention program that has been proven to help students reach their independent reading level by the end of the grade. My 2020 vision for my students is that each of them make at least one year of reading growth by May. The chromebooks are vital to helping students reach this goal.
