I have been spending a lot to build up my classroom from practically nothing, but could use some help purchasing some learning tools, such as these alphabet tubs. Each tub has items inside that correspond with the letter on the tub. This helps connect letter sounds to various items and words that contain that letter. This will help my students, who are all struggling readers, learn to associate letter sounds with their application in the real world. We will use these during circle time each morning, when I introduce our letter of the day. My students have varying learning disabilities, and struggle most with connecting what we learn in class to practical applications.
