The materials I am requesting will support my classroom in that they will make my classroom both inviting and comfortable to enable my students a place to learn. My students have many obstacles in front of them with their disabilities. When they are in their regular education classroom they struggle both mentally and physically so when they come to my classroom I want them to have a place that they LOVE to come to in order to help them learn. The seating I would like can help them sit and be more comfortable while learning. The donations to this project will help to improve my students to be more comfortable in school while they are trying to get caught up to their peers educationally. As a special education teacher I can see the importance of meeting my students where they are and helping them to feel loved. This project is important to me because I want my students to love school and to also love learning even though they have a disability.
