With the addition of a small couch for our school library, we'll be able to provide an alternative seating option for our students. We currently only have hard plastic adult sized chairs, which many student have a hard time sitting in for extended periods. Having a comfy place to sit will allow the students a relief from sitting in hard chairs or the floor all day, and let them become more immersed in their reading. From our littlest kindergartner to our most boisterous 6th grader, taking a short reading break on a couch could help recharge these kids to take on more challenges in and out of school. Help up make this crucial area of the school become a desirable study space for all students!
