Creating music is always fun. It gives students a way to continue to practice learning how to write poetry or prose and put it to sound to create their own masterpiece.It becomes difficult when you don't have instruments for them to play on and experiment while they are composing. Having boomwhackers will give them the opportunity to have instruments at their disposal to create their own music and giving ensemble opportunities as well. It will also give students more opportunities to play in a small or large ensemble, reinforcing concepts of being able to play alone and in a group setting.

About my class
