Happy Holidays, I am looking to fund the project to give my students Cuisenaire rods, a printer, pencils, and a pencil sharpener. Tis the season of giving. These items may seem minute to some but this will make a difference inside of my classroom. Printing and making copies have become hard to do this month with the shortage of toner. If we had our own printer inside of the class then we would be just fine. Cuisenaire rods are used to teach numeracy and fractions. Students can use the models to determine equivalent fractions and adding fractions. Also around this time is when our pencil supply needs replenishing. I hope you find it in your heart to give to our project. No amount is too small.
