The author Rodman Philbrick has fast paced stories and writes "what if" stories. I think my 5th grade students would enjoy these creative books. I want them to become readers that enjoy reading after they leave my class. I am asking for books by this author. As a small group we would read these books together with a book study guide. I add related technology to lessons in order to enhance student learning. Students have individual Chromebooks they can use while reading to look up unknown words or concepts. These books relate to students their age. They need books that catch their attention and they want to keep reading. This author fits the bill. Our school doesn't have books by this author but I want to add books to our school by this well liked author.
