Our 5th grade students will participate in either chemistry or life science labs. They will learn about the properties of water, electricity, and forces, as they explore the Museum of Science and Technology in Portland. They will witness the incredible feats that man has accomplished as they watch a 3D movie about man's ability to "Dream Big". All this hands-on science learning will take place while fostering social connections with their peers in a new and exciting environment. These memories will last a lifetime. As a Title I school, our students benefit from this enriched curriculum. I believe that if we change one child's career choice to the sciences during this trip, we have changed a life and the lives of others forever!
