First graders are busy! They need a lot of movement throughout the day. Some students need more than others. The use of wobble chairs and balance balls can help students who need to move focus on the task at hand. It gives them a safe option to "get their wiggles out," while working. Independent reading is an essential part of every day in the classroom. I would love to give my students the opportunity to use comfort chairs and spread out in the room to comfortably read their books. Please consider helping give comfort and movement to my students! Thanks!
