I teach Computer Science at a school where students overcome obstacles such as poverty, hunger, and homelessness. Many of my students come to me so that they can print their essays, book reports, and other projects for their core classes. So many of them do not have access to a printer. They usually have nowhere else to go to do this without having to pay for their printouts. I feel like they have so much more to worry about than where they will print their projects that will ultimately determine their academic standing. Our district usually does not have the funds to buy/replace printers for classrooms. The whole school relies on a copier combo in the workroom for printing. I have an older printer in my classroom, but it's on its last legs. I would love to have a place where my students can come when they need to print their work without having to worry about nickels, dimes, and quarters. This way, they can focus on becoming the best that they can be. Please help me help them be successful!
